Menghai Pengchen Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cake

Ms. Du at Menghai Pengchen Tea Factory spent some 30 years as the technical director at Menghai Tea Factory, she knew the inside out of a successful Pu-erh tea. As witnessed by this tea cake, some LBZ material was blended in (back then, LBZ was unknown and inexpensive) with other Bulang materials. This is a true Menghai tea cake that rocks!

It pays to put away the tea cake for a few years for the better, check out a thin layer of white mold at the surface of the cake. This tea cake is ready to be enjoyed.

This pu-erh cake brews a pretty reddish liquor with mellow taste, very smooth and sweet aftertaste. It is a hidden jem in our shop.
