2010 Changda Hao Mansa Green Pu-erh Cake


A hidden gem, a nice surprise!

The Changda Hao 250g cake is our first pick from Yiwu Manluo Tea Factory - many shall follow in the years to come. This particular cake was made by using 2010 early Spring materials from Mansa (Yiwu/Laos border area), a place that cannot be accessed by a car, but on motorcycle or foot.

The brewed soup is strong with that special floral scent, a delight to drink. I am impressed, to say the least.

Some may argue that this costs too much. Well, let me put this way, Changda teas were reasonably priced before, but a 2010 Changda tea cake (400g) costs 450 RMB (that's $ 66 at current exchange rate ) at Chinese ebay - Taobao, because of the drought in 2010 Spring.  Search it for yourself.
