2026 Premium Duyun Maojian Loose Leave Green Tea
Duyun Maojian is a famous Chinese green tea from Guizhou Province known for its tight, slender, fishhook-like leaves covered in white down.
Origin: Produced in Duyun City, within the Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou, China.
Historical Status: Recognized as one of China's top ten traditional famous teas and famously named by Chairman Mao Zedong in 1956.
Fresh, sweet, and crisp with a smooth mouthfeel and lingering floral or melon undertones.
Brewing: Best steeped using water around 175°F to 195°F (80°C to 90°C) for 30 to 60 seconds in a glass vessel or Gaiwan to prevent bitterness.
Do not use the boiling water to scald the tea leaves! Allow 1 tsp. of tea leaves per cup (8oz) of water. Cover with water no hotter than 80C, (180F) and allow to steep for 2 to 3 min.
