This is a purely composed of 100% Spring Ancient Tree Pu-erh from Menghai - single sourced premium quality tea. Since this is rare to get nowadays, and you can be sure that these are the cakes worth to collect.
The tea was fermented in May 2009, then compressed into tea cake in Oct. 2015. The brewed tea is rich, aromatic as ever and sweet, quite nice and mellow, and very much enjoyable like a Merlot or your best cup of Starbuck coffee.
It is said that purple buds tea is a naturally caused by exposing tea leaf to ultraviolet radiation from direct sunlight. The purple buds Pu-erh tea is said to have higher nutrition values than the most other teas.
