2014 MGH 1406 Guangbie Laozhai Green Pu-erh Tea Cake Sample

I pulled out my pesticide testing tab ( a practice we took for every tea we bought from now on), and the tea passed the test against multiple chemicals with flying colors (I'll let you in on a little secret, almost all new teas from tea gardens/plantation failed the test, unless the tea was made by using big/ancient tree tea leaves).

This tea cake is made by using early Spring materials from Guangbie Laozhai, Menghai area. The tea from Guangbie Laozhai is considered as the most rare because of its very limited production, and it is also considered as one of the bests in Menghai, on a par with LBZ.

It is said the tea trees in Lao Banzhang were planted by using young tea trees from Guangbie Laozhai, so they shared some common properties, pure and tasty. The teas from Guangbie Laozhai were often sold as LBZ teas.

MGH 1406 Guangbie Cake easily ranks at the highest among MGH in terms of taste.
