2016 Yiwu Bohe Tang Green Pu-erh Tea Cake

The pesticide testing has been conducted on this tea, and the tea passed the test against multiple chemicals with flying colors.

Bohe Tang (Mint Village) is a small village in Mansa, Yiwu area that only 4 families live there, about 33 old tea trees, before 2015 few people knew about it.
 
Legend has it: once upon a time a college graduate returned to his home village, started to work on the tea fields his family managed. No chemical, more intense care, less direct sun exposure and so on and so forth, he led his family on a crusade to produce the best Yiwu tea. Gradually the price for Bohe Tang tea took off, then went through the roof, from a few hundreds per kilo to more than 8,000 RMB per kilo. The unthinkable is now reality. In 2016 the most famed/expensive tea comes from Bohe Tang, a new star of Yiwu Zhengshan is born.
 
This cake tea came from a private reserve. You could not get it in local market.  Very limited production, decent raw materials and a low price make this tea cake a collection piece.
 
Needless to say that this is not a genuine Bohe Tang tea per se, but it is genuine Yiwu Mountain tea that shares many the same properties with a Bohe Tang tea.
 
Processed manually by using traditional method, stone compressed.
 
The soup brewed is golden, full body, emitting nice scent, a delight to drink.
