In 2014 Spring, I picked up a nice cup of this tea at a vendor that excelled in taste, I started to ask the questions. I pulled out my pesticide testing tab ( a practice we took for every tea we bought from now on), and the tea passed the test against multiple chemicals with flying colors (I'll let you in on a little secret, almost all new teas from tea gardens/plantation failed the test, unless the tea was made by using big/ancient tree tea leaves). It was an amazing tea, a rare find.
