This premium sun dried maocha is made of genuine Mengku Bingdao ancient tree material harvested in 2013 from the high-altitude, and non-polluted environment, from the very tree shown below, and hand made into maocha by an expert.

It's pity we could not afford it, nor we could get more to make into a MGH product. Just about 2,000g collected. I took a sample of this tea to a few tasting sessions in Kunming, everyone at table was impressed and thought it's worthing the market asking price of ¥ 5000 RMB (US $ 820) per kilo (or $ 41 per 50 grams).

The liquor shows a bright yellow color, with good clarity. This is the most sought after Mengku Premium Tea. The taste is of high frgrance, thick, oily, perfume alike at your brewing table, with overwhelmed 'Cha Qi', and a sweet aftertaste lingering in your month for a long time. There are many "layers" in this complex tea; it is suggested you use 6-7 grams leaf, take time to experiment different brewing length, water temperature.

Try it when the brewed soup is cooled slightly, the taste seems to become more amazing.
