02/04: 2012 Spring Tea Trip

My 2012 Spring tea trip is finally confirmed after the ticket were purchased, the ticket prices were much higher than ever before, because of gasoline.

We would fly away on April 17th., a bit late for 2012 early Spring harvest. Yes, I know. But, it's not that bad, considering the drought in Yunnan.

Our online shops, unfortunately, would be closed for exactly 3 weeks from April 16th. to May 8th.

However I would not leave China till the end of June. Hopefully I would bring back some of the best MGH and other goodies.

Please email me for whatever on your shopping list.

Ha ha! You got me almost laughing out loud for this: "a bit late for 2012 early Spring harvest. Yes, I know. But, it's not that bad, considering the drought in Yunnan."

I was showing a friend the 2008 Premium Bingdao Arbor brick yesterday. I told him your story about how you asked the tea salesman what was in the box behind the counter and how you called them the "bars of gold", carrying the box closely to your chest for the remainder of the trip.

I noticed that the 2006 Silver Needle Tips cake is no longer available. A friend was asking where he could get some tea like that.

I'd create a shopping list for you but I have no idea what I desire. I'll have to trust our judgement.

Good luck and safe travels.

What is the status in China? I hope you are relaxed and at ease.

Since summer heat is coming, I started cold brewing pu'eh this week, particularly a 1990s Shu from you. I put the leaves in room temperature filtered water and then place it in the refrigerator for 10-12 hours.
